5. Mount Kenya Climbing Adventure
This safari is for those visiting Kenya who want to climb Kenya’s extinct volcanic mountain, Mount Kenya, via the popular Sirimon Route in the northwest. Climbers have to cover a distance of 25-26 kilometres, starting at an altitude of 2650 metres. Via this route visitors can reach the top in almost four days. On the way back down, you descend through the Chogoria Route, the second of Mount Kenya’s popular climbing routes.
