This safari is an interesting adventure that starts and ends in Kampala. The safari will take you to Kidepo Valley National Park where you will enjoy great views of animals like giraffes, lions, zebras, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, cheetahs, impalas, reedbucks, among others during the game drives. During the boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls Nile, look out for crocodiles and hippos and other species.

Depending on your location on the first day of the safari you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari and start the journey to Gulu. On your way to Gulu you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Afterwards you will have lunch en-route and continue the journey with spectacular and incredible views of the beautiful landscape, homesteads, and local people. Upon arrival in Gulu town you will check into the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation Option: Acholi Inn or Similar
After breakfast on the second day of the six days safari, you will checkout of the lodge or hotel and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for lunch then head out for an interesting evening game drive. During the game drive you will drive to the Narus River, the only permanent water source in the park which makes it the best place to take beautiful pictures and view large concentrations of animals which come to the river to quench their thirst. Animals that can be spotted include elephants, lions, reedbucks, oribi, waterbucks, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, klipspringer, different bird species and more. After the afternoon game drive, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast on the third day of the 6 days safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, among others if you are lucky, view other animals like elephants, buffaloes, duikers, jackal, bushbucks, oribis, giraffes, zebras, reedbucks, waterbucks, take beautiful pictures of the sunrise among others. After the morning game drive which takes about 4 hours drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for exciting Karamojong cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the local people, learn about their way of living, dress code, culture, visit their traditional homesteads, enjoy their traditional entertainment, buy craft souvenirs among others. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the six days safari, you will check you of the lodge and your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge for the journey to Murchison Falls National Park in the northwestern part of Uganda. On the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy spectacular views of the scenery and traditional homesteads along the way. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation Option: Pakuba Safari Lodge or Similar
After an early morning breakfast on the fifth day of the six days safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for an early morning game drive where you will be able to se animals like buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, Jacksons hartebeest, among others grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, before they go back to their hiding areas. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will drive to Parra jetty landing site for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the Falls. During the boat ride, which takes about 2 hours, you will have spectacular views of the beautiful scenery, hippos, and Nile crocodiles in the water, and elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and antelopes along the shores, as well as water birds like kingfishers, bee-eaters, cormorants, and fish eagles. After the boat cruise you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast on the last day of the six days safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive to the top of the Falls where you will enjoy stunning views of the waterfall, enjoy water splashes among others. From here you will drive out of the park and start the journey back to Kampala. On the way you will enjoy lunch en-route then proceed to Kampala, arriving early evening when you will be dropped off either at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight, or another departure point.
