Overnight at Cassia Lodge/Kazi Beach Resort: lunch & dinner
An early breakfast before leaving for Jinja for a white water rafting experience on the Nile. This can be a full day or half day raft depending on what you choose. You can also visit Jinja’s local markets for some souvenir shopping.

After an early breakfast, make your way to Fort Portal. You will have an en-route lunch. This town is below the stunning Rwenzori Mountains and affords amazing views.
Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, explore the Kibale Forest on a chimpanzee track for an amazing experience as you see these apes mere meters away from you. 10 other primates including red colobus and gray-cheeked mangabey also reside in the forest. Your guide will provide you with detailed information on the primates, plants and the jungle. This primate walk promises to be both informative and enjoyable. In the afternoon, visit the Bigodi Swamp and the local community around the Kibale Forest for a cultural experience.
Overnight at Kibale Forest Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of the ‘Amabere ga Nyina Mwiru’ caves located 10 km from Fort Portal and a hike to the surrounding craters in the area. Return to Fort Portal for lunch and visit the Tooro Kingdom Palace. In the evening we drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park along the Rwenzori Mountain Range for much of the journey.
Overnight at Kasenyi Safari Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the park with an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard and elephant. the diverse eco-system consisting of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible array of wildlife. In the afternoon, your guide will take you for a 2-3 hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This boat trip passes through one of the highest concentration of hippos in the world. Many animals may be seen drinking on the shore, providing for excellent bird watching and game viewing. There are over 550 bird species in the reserve.

Today we drive through the Kigezi Highlands region of Uganda known as the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ providing views of terraced hillsides and winding roads en-route to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
The Bwindi Forest is a spectacular and incredibly dense rain forest with challenging trekking conditions. Arrive at the park headquarters early in the morning for a briefing before heading on the highlight of the trip, your gorilla trek. The trek can take anything from 2-7 hours depending on how far the gorillas might have moved and the weather. Your guide will lead you through the forest pathways until you find your way to these magnificent great apes. Enjoy an hour of undisturbed bliss with these creatures before making your way back to camp. Later relax at your lodge with breathtaking views of the park.
Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast make your way to Lake Mburo National Park with a stopover in Mbarara for lunch. Lake Mburo has five lakes and is mainly savanna with scattered acacias trees. The park features numerous antelope and is the best place to see zebra in the country. Adjacent to the park are the ranches of the Bahima ‘Ankole’ Tribe, who herd the famous long-horned ankole cattle that are a common sight here. Take an afternoon boat ride on the Lake and see a variety of birds and hippos too.
Overnight at Rwakobo Rock: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Enjoy a morning safari walk in the park after breakfast. Later return to your lodge for lunch before making your way to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator.
Overnight at Cassia Lodge/Kazi Beach Resort: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast your guide will take you to the airport for your flight to the Masai Mara in Kenya with Aero Link.
Overnight at Ashnil Mara Luxury Camp: breakfast & dinner
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the reserve where you could see the famous black-maned lions and the massive annual wildebeest migration. The Mara is one of Kenya’s most visited reserves with an extraordinary number of animals including the big five and many varieties of plains game. Experience the majesty of this amazing park and its vast open spaces. You will have a picnic lunch and continue with an afternoon game drive, arriving at the lodge in the evening for a well-deserved rest and dinner.
Overnight at Ashnil Mara Luxury Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, another full day of game drives as you follow the wildebeest migration across the Mara River.

An optional final morning game drive after which you will return to the lodge for breakfast. Later make your way to Nairobi for your flight to Entebbe.
