The journey takes you through the beautiful Luwero triangle and Nakasongola district, with a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. Continue to Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge to create a thunderous waterfall.
Enjoy an early morning game drive on the northern banks of the Nile, where you’ll spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, and various antelope species. After lunch, go for a boat cruise on the Nile River to the base of the falls, offering an incredible view of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds. The boat ride ends with a hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking scenery.
After breakfast, set off for Kibale Forest National Park, home to the world’s highest concentration of primates, including over 1,500 chimpanzees. The drive offers panoramic views of the Albertine Rift Valley, tea plantations, and crater lakes. Arrive in Fort Portal town and check in to your lodge for relaxation.
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale Forest. Enjoy watching these intelligent primates as they swing from branches and interact in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, take a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its diverse birdlife and community projects.
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its rich wildlife and the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountains. You’ll pass through beautiful landscapes with opportunities to spot baboons and elephants along the way. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains.

After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Expect to see hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and an array of bird species.
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector, known for its famous tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Enjoy the stunning views of terraced hills and local farms.
Today is the highlight of your safari – gorilla trekking. After a briefing at the park headquarters, embark on a guided trek through dense forest in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Once you find them, spend an unforgettable hour observing their behavior and taking photographs. In the evening, relax at the lodge or visit a local community for a cultural performance.
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest and most scenic lakes, surrounded by terraced hills and dotted with beautiful islands. Spend the afternoon canoeing, swimming, or visiting local communities on the islands.
