Day by Day Overview

You will be picked up from Kampala city or Entebbe airport after  breakfast, have a briefing of your trip, then start off with our journey via Masaka road. We will have a stopover at Kayabwe where we find the equator – the only point where you can stand with your one leg in the northern hemisphere and the other in the southern hemisphere. You will have an opportunity to take pictures as you have a brief study about the equator. We will then continue with our journey to Lake Mburo National Park near Mbarara. Check in at the hotel, have lunch, rest and then we shall go for an evening nature walk. Come back at the hotel for dinner and a night stay (F/B).

We shall wake up early in the morning with a delicious breakfast before going for a morning game drive where we shall view a variety of wildlife such as zebras, impalas, giraffes and more. We shall then go back to the hotel where we have lunch, check out of the hotel and then embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a stopover at Kitagata Hot Springs to enjoy the natural warm waters and eggs boiled underground. We shall spend a few minutes here and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check in the lodge,  relax with the great views, enjoy dinner and and overnight (F/B).

Wake up early in the morning and go for a morning game drive for more opportunities to view wildlife such as the tree-climbing lions, warthogs, antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, hyenas among others. Head back to the hotel for lunch. We shall then go and visit the Kyambura Gorge and Caves (bat and python caves) then go for a nature walk to Kikorongo women community for a cultural encounter. You will have an opportunity to view some of the African arts and crafts workshops, buy some souvenirs if interested, then head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight (F/B).

You will wake up early in the morning with a morning breakfast and thereafter start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park on the Kyenjojo-Hoima-Kagadi road, with lunch en route, reaching the park in the afternoon. As you enter the park, you will be welcomed by wild residents such as baboons, monkeys and birds. Take in the amazing sights and sounds entering Uganda’s largest national park. You will then check-in at the hotel and relax in the breathtaking surroundings of this ultimate safari destination. You may take a short nature walk, prepare for dinner and overnight (F/B).

You will wake up early in the morning with breakfast, then head off on a game drive once the guide has briefed you. Search for the wild residents, as they welcome you to their habitats, you can expect to see number of animals which may include lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, leopards, giraffes and as many others as nature allows. Also enjoy the most stunning, beautiful and scenic views of the landscape. Head back to the hotel for lunch then set off an afternoon boat cruise along the Nile River.

Here you will be able to see a number of animals, especially hippos, elephants as they drink, crocodiles, water birds and many others. The cruise is at least three hours then you will proceed to the top of Murchison Falls for hiking, where you will enjoy the raindrops coming from the powerful falls, with the 300 cubic meters volume of water forcing itself into a narrow gap of only 7 meters wide between the two rocks forming the falls. Head back to the hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

After breakfast transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary with lunch en route. Reach the sanctuary, check in at the hotel, then relax before going rhino tracking. Afterwards go back to the hotel for relaxation, enjoy a nature walk in the evening before dinner and overnight at the hotel.

We shall have our last jungle breakfast then check out after and drive back to Kampala as we finish this amazing Uganda safari.
