Day by Day Overview

When you land at Entebbe airport, we’ll be waiting to take you to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.

After breakfast we’ll travel approximately 6 hours through Gulu District in Northern Uganda to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival check-in to the hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon you may choose to relax or visit the community to learn more about Karamojon ways of life.

After breakfast we’ll start our 4-5 hour game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park. Look out for wildlife such as lions, giraffes, elands, zebras, elephants, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs and buffaloes as well as a variety of bird species including ostrich. After the game drive we’ll head to the lodge for lunch. Later on return to the park for a 3-hour evening game lodge, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. We arrive back at the hotel just in time for dinner!

After breakfast, we will drive through Mount Moroto District on maram roads for about 4-5 hours until we reach Moroto/Sipi Falls. Check in to the hotel, have lunch and later head out on a short sundowner hike from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In the morning we will have breakfast followed by a 3-4 hour hike to Sipi Falls. Enjoy the views and the rushing water before returning to the hotel for lunch. After lunch we have the option to go on a coffee tour and tasting or to relax at the hotel and enjoy the quiet scenery.

After breakfast we drive from Sipi Falls to Jinja, which will take approximately 3-4 hours. We’ll have lunch at the hotel on the river and rest up before a sunset cruise on the Nile from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

After an early breakfast, we’ll drive you to the rapids on the Nile where you begin a 5-6 hour white water rafting adventure! Lunch and drinks will be provided during the activity. Afterwards return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Check-out after breakfast and set off on the drive back to Entebbe International Airport, which can take up to four hours. If you would like to add on one more night in Entebbe to rest before traveling, or because you have an early morning flight, we can take you to your chosen hotel (cost of extra night in Entebbe not included).
