Tarangire is a home to a wealth of wildlife including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, python, zebra, oryx, impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed here and the park has many baobab trees and some varieties of acacias. Tarangire is the one place in Tanzania where pythons climb trees.

After an early morning breakfast in Tarangire, drive to the great Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game drives en route. On your journey, you have a picnic lunch so that when you arrive in the Serengeti you proceed with game drives in the park. Serengeti National Park is home to lion, leopard, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, wild dog, gazelles, crocodiles and much more. There are also numerous birds includes the Eurasia migrants.

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park including viewing around the Seronera area. In the afternoon continue with game viewing in Central Serengeti where the main path of the Serengeti wildebeest migration passes.

After breakfast, enjoy some more game drives in the Serengeti up to lunchtime. After lunch drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here you have the option to visit a Maasai Boma, meet local Masai people, and learn about the culture. Another option is to visit Olduvai Gorge.

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast then descend into the Crater floor for game drives. All the big five – rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant – live in this wonderful caldera; other species include zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. Birds include flamingos on Soda Lake, geese, storks and vultures. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a hippo pool.
