Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari guide who will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. This day is reserved for rest and relaxation after your international flight. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short city tour or relax at the lodge while preparing for the safari adventure ahead. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Overnight: Arusha
After an early breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, famous for its large herds of elephants, iconic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an extensive game drive through the park where you may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, you will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Overnight: The Castle at Ngorongoro
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse park nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is well known for its lush groundwater forest, large troops of baboons, hippos, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive with opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. After lunch, return to Karatu for relaxation at the lodge.
Overnight: The Castle at Ngorongoro
Following breakfast, depart Karatu and travel towards the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with beautiful landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast open plains, home to large populations of predators and plains game. As the sun sets, proceed to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Wildlux Serengeti Camp
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, offering exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. The park is famous for its high concentration of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s most remarkable natural spectacles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your safari until late afternoon.
Overnight: Wildlux Serengeti Camp
After an early morning game drive in Serengeti, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Africa. The crater floor hosts a dense concentration of animals including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and flamingos. After a rewarding game drive and picnic lunch, ascend the crater and drive to Karatu for overnight.
Overnight: Marera Valley
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive back to Arusha. You will be transferred to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport in time for your departure flight back home, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania safari experience.
