Nature loves bicycles because no harm comes from bicycles. And yes, cycling while viewing some of Uganda’s finest wildlife species sounds fun, but how about cycling between these fascinating creatures, just you, your bikes, and the animals, and the national park for you to explore. The first day constitutes a drive to Lake Mburo National Park, a cycling tour along the border of the national park on the second, and a cycling safari inside the national park on the third, as you ride along with zebras, waterbucks, warthogs and Ugandan kobs.
1 pax – from USD 950 person
2 pax – from USD 650 per person
3 pax + from USD 500 per person
Single supplement USD 85
After a filling breakfast, all roads will lead to Uganda’s smallest park, known for zebras – Lake Mburo National Park. This route offers you a great opportunity to have a stopover at the Equator, which not only serves as a great spot for photos but an opportunity for a quick leg stretch. After some refreshments and check-in, we explore this wild land on two wheels. The afternoon ride takes you along the border of the park while viewing some of the fascinating wildlife like zebras, Ugandan kobs, and hard-to-miss warthogs, in an experience like no other.
A longer ride on the borders of the national park is a guarantee of seeing a more spectacular range of wildlife. After this exhilarating adventure, you get some chill time in the afternoon – reading a book perhaps or getting lost in the wonders of nature, as you gear up for yet another exciting activity – a night game safari to see more wildlife. The main focus of the night game safari is to see the nocturnal animals; leopards, hyenas, bush babies, and many more.
You will do a ride inside the park and there are still lots of chances to spot wildlife. After the ride, you will come back for lunch and then will be transferred back to Kampala. On the way stop at the Equator for souvenirs and pictures.
