This primate safari brings you the highlights of Uganda, where savannah meets rain forest. Look for the animals of the savannah: lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, leopard and up to 13 primate species, including gorillas and chimpanzees. The trip specifically includes the most important and well known national parks of Uganda: Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Lake Bunyonyi.

Arrive at Entebbe Airport where you’ll be met and transferred from the airport to your hotel.
Today we transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, where you visit the top of the Falls if time allows. On our way we visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda where you can see the white rhino. Murchison Falls is one of the most beautiful national parks of Uganda where the Nile River is forced through a narrow gorge, falling 60 m over the spectacular Murchison Falls.
Early morning game drive in this beautiful national park. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. Afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the Falls. The boat is the perfect platform to see and photograph many different bird species.
Early morning game drive or boat trip on the Nile to the Delta and into Lake Albert. After lunch we drive to Fort Portal.
Today you have a choice of activities to choose from including Rwenzori hike, caves and waterfall, crater tours.
Head off today to Kibale Forest National Park where you enjoy the memorable experience of chimpanzee tracking, which will be in the morning or the afternoon. For those interested in primates and birds and willing to make another walk can do a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well. It is also possible to visit the local people or the crater lakes.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we pass the equator where we will make a stop. Enjoy a game drive in the afternoon in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the best places in Uganda to see lions as well as elephants, many hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and if you’re lucky leopards.
Enjoy a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the morning. In the afternoon take a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of Uganda, home to the highest concentration of hippos in the world.
Today we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the driving time depending on which area in Bwindi we’ll be staying in, it may be possible to do a game drive in Ishasha on the way. The journey passes by interesting villages and breathtaking views of the mountains. Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many primate species. Bwindi is one of the two places in the world where you can find mountain gorillas!
Today is the day for the amazing experience of gorilla tracking! Early morning departure with your ranger to search for one of the world’s most interesting and endangered animals, the mountain Gorilla. Once you find them, you will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives – an unforgettable experience. Later on we depart for Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park with high chances of seeing leopards. Then continue on to Entebbe where the safari ends.
