We will pick you up from Arusha airport and transfer you to Tulia Spa & Boutique. A city sightseeing tour comes as part of the excursion for day one. The city excursion will involve visiting the local markets, Maasai market, cultural heritage and Arusha city museum.
After breakfast, we will pick you up from a hotel in Arusha town, drive straight to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with game drive en-route. This is about an 8 hours drive. Here you will be spending the rest of the day game driving around the Seronera Area of the Serengeti. The Serengeti is divided into three main areas: the Seronera is the most central and accessible region and this is where the park HQ is based, as well as most of the larger lodges and busier campsites. This is the part of the Serengeti that you have seen in wildlife documentaries, characterized by the open plains of grassland, packed with animals. The Seronera River is the lifeblood of the Serengeti and this area is renowned for great game viewing all year round. It is also particularly good for lion and cheetah sightings, as well as the most elusive of all big cats, the leopard. After a tiresome long drive and some game viewing, you will then be transferred to a lodge for dinner and your overnight.
Today, the game drive will start during sunrise. After a simple breakfast (a cup of coffee and snacks), the morning game drive will start at around 6:00 am whereby at this time Serengeti plains is more active and great time to spot a lot of animals and birds. At this time, animals and birds are waking, predators are on the hunt for prey, and are herbivorous are feeding on grass. This becomes a great time to spot many animals and observe the real adventure such as animal hunting and to take best pictures for good memories. After the morning game drive, you will drive back to the lodge (or picnic site) for a full breakfast then proceed with an afternoon game drive (including the lunch) until the evening.
You’ll wake up early in the morning, have an early morning game drive, with an optional balloon safari (at extra cost), then drive back to the lodge for a breakfast and check out, with our picnic lunch. You’ll then have an early afternoon game drive en-route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will reach Ngorongoro Crater late in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge located in the slopes of the crater rim.
Have an early breakfast, then you we will pick up our lunch boxes before departure for a game drive in the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. For many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience.
