Day by Day Overview

Our driver guide from Cul Tours & Safaris will pick you up and brief you before the start of your trip to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, in Nakasongola District, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will spend two hours trekking rhinos as well as have lunch there before continuing with the journey through Masindi up to the park, viewing the green flat landscape as you go. Arrive at in Murchison Falls National Park in the evening and use the remaining hours of the day to drive to the captivating top of Murchison Falls. The top of the falls is an incredible scene, where the Nile, Africa’s longest river, goes through a narrow crevice in the rock (only 7 meters wide) before violently dropping down 43 meters. Murchison Falls Park is habitat for a large number of African wild animals including water buffalo, elephant, crocodile, lion, leopard, hippopotamus, antelope, giraffe, Uganda kob, oribi and others. The Nile River in the park is a home to a variety of water birds, including the rare shoebill stork.
