My girl friend and I were keen to find an affordable trip but with incomparably top notch services. This trip was beyond our expectations as we were on budget. I must say I highly recommend Mond Safaris for best trekking experience. We were picked from our hotel in Kampala city by the company driver Emma. Emma is an excellent driver and very sociable. We had a stop over at the Equator for about half an hour and then proceeded to Mbarara town for lunch. The overall trip to Bwindi was really smooth and picturesque. We spent a night at Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge. We had an incredibly beautiful night there with clean rooms, hot showers and tasty meals. The next morning we went for the trek after registration at the wildlife offices in the park. We were in a group of other tourists. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the timings and locations of the gorilla families. After about 3 hours we came into close contact with the Silverback. This is a must see for everyone. I can't really describe the experience we got there. You need to see for your self. We spent that night at the lodge and the next day after breakfast we were picked up by Emma who made it a point we visited the wonderful Lake Bunyonyi before we headed back to Kampala. All in all Mond Safaris is highly recommended for anyone!
