Day by Day Overview
From Nairobi city center at 1430 hours, you will be transferred to the meeting point to meet the rest of the group. This is followed by the drive to Amboseli National Park, approximately 4-5 hours, arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, check in at your camp where you will have dinner and overnight. Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak.
Explore Amboseli for the whole day. Enjoy game drives in the morning and afternoon to explore the park’s various habitats, which include acacia forest, open grasslands, marshes, and swamps. There are more than 400 different types of birds to see, along with lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. Spend the midday break at your accommodation while admiring the expansive Kilimanjaro views.
Enjoy a morning game drive of about 2-3 hours followed by breakfast then depart Amboseli for Nairobi. Enjoy the shifting scenery on your way. You will be dropped off at the city center.
