Day by Day Overview
After arriving at Victoria Falls International Airport, you will be met by a transfer operator and driven the short road transfer to Pioneer’s. This guest lodge offers excellent value for money with comfortable and affordable accommodation situated in the heart of the Victoria Falls Residential Area. This lodge has beautiful gardens, 2 swimming pools and caters all meals.
Victoria Falls town is compact enough to walk around and is an ideal base to see the incredible UNESCO World Heritage site and Seventh Wonder of the World after which the town is named. During your two days in Victoria Falls, you will be able to choose from an array of activities including white water rafting, tour of the Falls, bungee jumping, river cruise, scenic flights over the Falls, curio shopping and more!
Today after breakfast you will be collected and transferred to Victoria Falls Airport for your flight to Hwange where you will be met and transferred on a game drive to Sable Valley.
The lodge is on a private concession adjacent to Hwange National Park but there are no fences so game is free to move between them. Here you have activities included such as walks and game drives on the concession or into the park. There is also a waterhole in front of camp that will be popular with game at this dry time of year, they have a hide on the edge of the waterhole so you can get up close to the action. There is also a new star bed if you wish to have a night under the stars.
Hwange is Zimbabwe’s biggest reserve, home to a profusion of wildlife and providing sanctuary for all the country’s endangered species. During your stay, you’ll enjoy daily game drives and guided walks as well as ample opportunity to relax at the lodge and enjoy being in such stunning and restful surrounds.
You will be transferred to Hwange Airport for your flight to VFA arriving 11:35 to connect with your international flight.
