Day by Day Overview
Early in the morning depart to Masai Mara. You’ll likely arrive at your chosen accommodation in or around Masai Mara lunch time. Check in and have lunch then relax. In the evening, embark on your first game drive in the afternoon. The open savannahs and rolling hills of Masai Mara are home to a diverse range of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros), giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar
Spend the entire day exploring the vast landscapes of Masai Mara. Early morning and late afternoon are prime times for wildlife sightings. Witness the spectacular sunrise over the plains and the wildlife starting their day. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by nature. Visit the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos reside, and perhaps witness a river crossing if the timing coincides with the annual wildebeest migration.
Dinner and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp or similar
After breakfast, check out from your accommodation and, depending on your schedule, you might have another game drive en route to the exit gate. Depart from Masai Mara with memories of an incredible safari experience. Arrive at Nairobi in the late afternoon. Drop off at the agreed point.
