This safari takes you to Uganda's very best national parks, driving through spectacular scenery and local villages. It starts from the east and heads to Sipi Falls, Pian Upe Game Reserve, wild Kidepo Valley National Park, the thundering waters of Murchison Falls and game-rich Queen Elizabeth National Park. Activities include game drives, boat cruise, coffee farm visit, hiking, fishing, cultural visit and lion tracking experience.

Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Relax after your long flight as you prepare for your upcoming adventure in the countryside.
Overnight: Cassia Lodge
After breakfast at the lodge, we set off to visit the mighty Source of the River Nile on a boat ride to the spot where the River Nile leaves Lake Victoria. You will later proceed to the elevated slopes of Mountain Elgon in Sipi.
Dinner and overnight stay at Rafiki Lodge Sipi
Transfer time approx. 6 hours
After an early breakfast, you will take off on an early morning hike to Sipi Falls, on the slopes of Mountain Elgon National Park, where there are three main waterfalls you will visit. This hike is well worth the effort as it will provide a great vista of beautiful scenery. After the hike, return to the hotel for lunch and then visit the local coffee farms and households. You will learn about the entire process of how coffee moves from the farm to the cup. You have the chance to take part in several scheduled charity activities and then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight stay at Rafiki Lodge Sipi
We leave the stunning views of Sipi Falls in the morning and start the journey to Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve, the park of Kidepo Valley Conservation Area. We continue our journey off the beaten track by going through a very remote area with a scenic reserve, local people, markets and a remote village. The Karamojong are nomadic pastoralists who live in unique houses called manyatas that are designed to be temporal. The guide will explain to you the things related to their culture as you travel through the remotest zones of Uganda.
Dinner and overnight: Kara Tunga Camp

Depart in the morning after breakfast, with a packed lunch, for a game drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Africa’s best-kept secrets and a true wilderness with the tree-lined Kidepo River. Go in search of wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, ostriches, leopards and tortoises.
Dinner & overnight: Kidepo Savannah Lodge
Transfer time approx. 5 hours
After breakfast enjoy a morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park in search of the wildlife such as ostrich, hartebeest, roan antelope and many woodland birds. Have lunch and relax at the lodge. Later travel through rural parts of Uganda, seeing the villages and beautiful landscape through the windows along the way while occasionally sighting olive baboons, warthogs and other wildlife.
Dinner and overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge
Transfer time approx. 6 hours
Today drive to the River Nile near Paraa for sport fishing on a motorboat with site guides who are experienced in fishing. On a good day, you may catch the biggest Nile perch, which is your main interest plus other fish species available on the Victoria Nile. Have a short break to relax and have lunch at Paraa. In the evening there’s an option to have a game drive as you drive back to the lodge.
Dinner and overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge
After breakfast, start your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way you will see beautiful landscape scenery, with lunch en route.
Dinner and overnight: Elephant Plains Lodge
Transfer time approx. 8 hours
After having your breakfast, check out and proceed for lion tracking in Queen Elizabeth National Park which involves following an individual or group of lions in order to learn more about their behavior, feeding habits and social/group dynamics. To take part in the lion tracking experience, you need to book in advance. During lion tracking, the driver can drive off the main road and deep into the savannah depending on the location of the lions. Once the team is close to the lions, the driver switches off the engine to avoid chasing away the cats. If you are lucky might witness the researcher collecting DNA, blood, urine, saliva, ticks, and other samples from the lions.
Dinner and overnight at Enjojo Lodge
Transfer time approx. 3 hours
After an early breakfast check out of your lodge and head off to Ishasha sector, the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The sector is small but has bountiful wildlife and is famous for the tree-climbing lions. You will a game drive to try your luck at getting a glimpse of some of these lions as they lazily rest in the fig trees.
Overnight: Mpogo Lodge
Transfer time approx. 5 hours
After breakfast you will have a road trip to Entebbe with stopovers for lunch, photography plus stopping over at the famous Equator line at Kayabwe, to have a feeling of standing at latitude zero degrees! Here there are lots of crafts and souvenir shops where you can do some shopping. You will later transfer to your hotel in Entebbe.
Dinner and overnight: 2 Friends Beach Hotel
Transfer time approx. 5 hours
On this last day, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight depending on the the departure time.
