From USD 1,700 per person
You will be picked up in Entebbe from the airport or your hotel, meet your guide who will welcome you to the ‘Pearl of Africa’ and then begin the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Depending on the time of your arrival, you will reach Mburo in the afternoon or early evening. Upon arrival, you will have the chance to join an optional (extra cost) evening game drive for some breathtaking game viewing. Later you will make your way back to camp for a delicious dinner.
Overnight: Eagles’ Nest| Meals: dinner | Travel time: 4 hours
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for an exciting morning game drive. Alternatively you can head out for a optional (extra cost) morning bush walk for the chance to enjoy some game viewing on foot. You will then return to the lodge before making your way to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The park is home to some 300 mountain gorillas, roughly half of the world’s remaining population. Upon arrival, enjoy some relaxing time in the lodge surrounded by the sounds of the forest, helping you conserve your energy for the strenuous trek in the morning.
Overnight: Broadbill Forest Camp| Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner | Travel time: 4-5 hours
After an early breakfast, you will make your way to the rangers post for a briefing for the gorilla trek. You will then head into the jungle in search of the gentle giants. The dense forest that spans steep terrain and is often wet makes for tough trekking conditions, and the length of the trek depends on the gorillas movement and whereabouts. When you finally reach them, the difficulty makes it all the more rewarding and amplifies the magnitude of the privileged experience. You will get to spend an hour with the magnificent creatures to observe their interactions before making your way back to camp. You will then head to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening beside the tranquil waters, allowing you to reflect on your amazing day.
Overnight: Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort| Meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner | Travel time: 2-3 hours
Enjoy some breakfast with a spectacular view of the lake with its many little islands before slowly making your way back to Entebbe, marking the end of your trip. We hope to see you again and we know that we will be sending you home with magnificent new memories.
Meals: breakfast & lunch | Travel time: 8 hours
