Day by Day Overview

Breakfast on day one will be provided at your hotel, followed by a meet, greet and briefing on the 3-day Queen Elizabeth safari by our driver. There will be a number of stopovers including the Uganda Equator along Masaka road where you will be able to stand in both the northern and southern hemispheres and experiment how water swirls in different directions when placed in the northern and southern hemispheres, take photos and even buy some of the beautiful souvenirs. Continue to your lodge.

Overnight: Irungu Forest Safari Lodge

Start the day with an early game drive that to see diverse animals: the big five as well as carnivores such as hyenas which can be spotted along the circuits as we drive along,  and many more species that are resident to this park. There is a rich bird life especially storks in the wetland spots and flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. Enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. With your binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of birds and animals like the ever-playing African elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, warthogs and much more.

This morning you go chimp trekking in Kalinzu forest. Enjoy the walk through the forest and the fascinating meeting with the chimpanzees. After the trek set off on the drive back to Kampala, arriving in the evening.
