The 10 days Uganda Safari is an amazing and exceptional adventure that will take you to the most interesting destinations in Uganda including Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. During the safari you will able to spend time with the endangered gorillas and chimpanzees in their natural environment, view different animals including elephants, rhinos, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, giraffes, Nile crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, oribi, bushbucks, among others, during game drives and boat cruise.

Day by Day Overview
Depending on your location on day one of the 10 days safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will brief you about the safari then transfer you to a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala for relaxation and overnight.
After breakfast on day two, our driver guide will pick you from the hotel and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is located in the south western part of Uganda. On the way you have at stopover at the equator where you can buy souvenirs and crafts. You will then proceed with another stopover for en-route lunch and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast on day three of the 10 days safari, you carry your packed lunch and the driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla trekking. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle, which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located. During the trekking, you will have views of mammals, other primates and different bird species. Once the gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat, which gives you an opportunity to watch them carryout their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones – learn more about their behaviors, take photos and record these breathtaking moments.
After the encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the headquarters where you be awarded a certificate for participating in the gorilla habituation, meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast on day four, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with the driver guide to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way you will have a stopover in the Ishasha sector for a game drive where you may be able to see climbing lions lying in acacia tree branches, if you’re lucky. After the game drive you have en-route lunch and then continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up for an early morning gamed drive/lion tracking experience in the Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be graced with great views of animals like buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giant forest hogs, elephants, bushbucks, lions, leopards, hyenas, different bird species, among others. After the fascinating game drive return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an exciting boat cruise which is carried out on the Kazinga channel, a 40km long channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The boat ride starts at around 2:00 pm and rewards you with breathtaking views of the large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles in water, views of elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, water birds like kingfishers, fish eagles, hornbills, cormorants, and bee-eaters, among others. After the boat ride which takes about 2 hours you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After breakfast on day six of the 10 days safari, you will meet your driver guide and go for another morning game drive where you will be able to view other animals you may have missed in the previous game drives. Afterwards you will return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, check out of the lodge and start your journey to Kibale National Park and upon arrival you will connect to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
After an early morning breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trekking briefing. Afterwards you will be grouped into 6 people allocated to a chimpanzee family to trek and a park guide who will lead you into the forest. Chimpanzee trekking is an interesting activity that starts at 8:00am and takes from around 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located, because they like to move from one place to another in search for food especially during the dry season.
During trekking you will be able to see other primates like red tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangabey, and vervet monkeys, and view bird species, mammals, and plant species. Once the chimpanzees are found you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to learn about their behaviours, habits, watch them feed, play, fight, hunt, mate, while you take photos and record the moments.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees you will drive back to the lodge for lunch where you relax and later go for an interesting nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to see bird species, plants, animals and more. After the nature walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast on day eight of the 10 days, you will meet your driver guide and embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, with lunch en-route, enjoy spectacular views of local people, homesteads, farmlands, Rwenzori mountains and tea plantations, with stopovers to take photos and stretch your legs. Upon arrival you will directly go to the top of the Falls where you will enjoy stunning views of the waterfall, beautiful scenery, water splashes, rainbows, and listen to the roars of the waterfall. Afterwards you will drive to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early in the morning of day nine, you have an early morning breakfast and your driver guide will pick you up to go for a morning delta drive Look out for animals such as warthogs, buffaloes, giraffes, Uganda kobs, zebras, Patas monkeys, baboons and elephants grazing in the open savannah plains. You might also see predators like lions, hyenas and leopards, before they go back to their hiding areas out of the sun. After the game drive you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will drive to Parra jetty landing site for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of Muchison Falls. During the boat ride which takes about 2 hours you will have spectacular views of the beautiful scenery, hippos, and Nile crocodiles in the water as well as elephants, buffaloes, warthogs and antelopes along the shores. Also look out for water birds like kingfishers, bee-eaters, cormorants, and fish eagles, among others. After the boat cruise you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the ten days safari, you check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way you will have en-route lunch and a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking where after you will continue the journey to Kampala. Arrive early evening and your driver guide will drop you off to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at another venue.
