This fly-in safari combines two of the most famous wildlife parks in Kenya, Amboseli National Park with its huge herds of elephants and breathtaking views of Mt Kilimanjaro and the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve, one of the richest animal game reserves in Africa. This safari is perfect for a beach extension before or after the safari.

Day by Day Overview

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and safari driver/guide. If you wish to change money into the local currency it would be advisable to do it at the airport. You will then be transferred to your city hotel.

Overnight at Ole-Sereni Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)
Activities: Game viewing, photography, nature walks sightseeing, birding and cultural visits

Your driver will pick you up after breakfast and transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Amboseli National Park. Fly through the scenic southern part of Kenya towards the Kenya/Tanzania border, Namanga. Arrive in time for lunch at your camp. Proceed for your first game drive in Amboseli National Park, known for some of the largest herds of elephants as well as offering a fantastic view of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro (in fact offers a better view than when in Tanzania). You will be enchanted by nature and enjoy a wonderful stay in the wild.

Meals and overnight at Zebra Amboseli Camp (Full Board Basis)

Spend an exciting day in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon scheduled game drives and experience excellent game viewing and the beautiful view of snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp to enjoy a scrumptious breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at your camp. After lunch you can take a refreshing dip in the pool or relax in your room’s verandah to enjoy the view before proceeding for another game drive in the park. The camp also offers other activities such as guided bush walks or visits to Masai villages at an extra cost.

Meals and overnight at Zebra Plains Amboseli Camp (Full Board Basis)

After breakfast, check out from the camp for your flight to the Masai Mara departing at 0915 hrs. Arrive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve at approx 1015 hrs. Upon arrival you will be met by the camp’s safari vehicle and guide and transferred to the camp with a short game drive en route. Enjoy a delicious meal in the wild. After lunch embark on your exciting afternoon game drive and experience the infinite abundance of wildlife with spectacular scenery in Masai Mara.

Meals and overnight at Zebra Plains Mara Camp (Full Board Basis) 

Spend the next two days in the Masai Mara, with morning and afternoon scheduled game drives. You maybe sharing the vehicle with other guests and will have a good chance of seeing herds of buffalo, zebra as well as hippos, giraffe, antelopes of all kinds, and much more. An extended game drive in the morning is a possibility if all guests agree and you can then take a delicious picnic breakfast out into the Mara Plains. The Masai Mara is one of the most unique regions of the world with breathtaking landscapes and natural beauty. The reserve is home to the world’s highest concentration of savannah animals including various species of antelopes, giraffes, buffaloes and elephants as well as a high population of big cats.

Enjoy your last early morning game drive before returning to your camp for breakfast. Freshen up and thereafter you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Nairobi departing at 1115 hrs. On arrival, you will be met by a  driver/guide who will take you to a restaurant of your choice for lunch which is payable direct (time allowing). Thereafter transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight. We would be pleased to offer an extended beach holiday for you at the Kenyan coast upon request.
