Following breakfast, your journey begins at 7:00 am, venturing northward through the picturesque landscapes of Luweero and Masindi districts. Along this scenic route, immerse yourself in the charm of traditional farms and rural villages, experiencing the local way of life. A stop at Ziwa Ranch Rhino Sanctuary awaits, offering an exhilarating rhino tracking experience, contributing to the conservation efforts for these majestic creatures.
After this thrilling encounter, proceed to Masindi town for a delightful lunch and refueling before reaching the majestic Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, your expedition leads straight to the awe-inspiring falls, allowing you to explore both the top and the base. Marvel at the grandeur of the Nile River as it cascades through a seven-meter gorge, plummeting a staggering forty-five meters. The thunderous roar of the foaming waters creates a captivating spectacle, leaving an indelible impression. Conclude the day with a dinner and a restful overnight stay at the Parkside Safari Lodge, nestled within the park’s enchanting ambiance.
At the crack of dawn, commence your day with an early start at 6:30 am for a captivating sunrise game drive in Nyamsika plateau. Prepare for an extraordinary wildlife spectacle, encountering Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, Uganda kob, hartebeest, and waterbuck. Keep a watchful eye for sightings of oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, elusive sitatunga, bush duiker, warthog, and bush pig. The landscape may also unveil majestic predators like lions, leopards, and spotted hyenas. Along the Nile’s banks, expect glimpses of crocodiles and hippos basking in their natural habitat.
