Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at JRO or Arusha Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to Njiro Legacy. Relax and acclimate to the Tanzanian sun as you prepare for your expedition.
Stay: Njiro Legacy (Bed & Breakfast)
Experience a rare naturalist-led walking safari to feel the pulse of the African bush on foot. Afterwards enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse topography, including the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater.
Stay: Njiro Legacy
A 2-hour drive brings you to Tarangire, famous for its prehistoric baobab trees and massive elephant density. Track predators along the Tarangire River before ascending to your luxury retreat.
Stay: Mawe Mawe Luxury Lodge
Explore the surreal, alkaline shores of Lake Natron. Enjoy a lakeshore walking safari and a hike to a refreshing hidden waterfall.
Pro-Adventure Option: Take on the challenge of a night trek to the summit of Ol Doinyo Lengai (The Mountain of God) for an additional $80 pp (prior arrangement required).

A pre-dawn descent into the world’s largest intact Volcanic Caldera. This self-contained ecosystem is the best place in East Africa to spot the endangered back rhino.
Stay: Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge
Step back in time with the Hadzabe Tribe, the last true hunter-gatherers. Learn their ancient click language and tracking skills, then visit the Datoga Blacksmiths. End the day with a sunset walk on the Lake Eyasi salt flats.
Stay: Tulia Botique (Arusha)
Transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to the “Spice Island.” Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be whisked away to the Nungwi coast.

Two full days to experience the Indian Ocean at your own pace. While these days are Bed & Breakfast to allow you to sample the island’s diverse cuisine, we can arrange excursions to Stone Town, Prison Island, or a sunset Dhow cruise upon request.

Enjoy a final morning of sea breeze before your private transfer to Zanzibar International Airport for your return flight home.
