Day by Day Overview

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, meet your guide, and receive a safari briefing.

Drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walk to see rhinos in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park. On arrival, visit the top of Murchison Falls to witness the Nile plunging through the gorge— perfect for photos.

Morning game drive to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and antelopes. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birds.

Travel southwest toward Kibale Forest, enjoying the scenic countryside of farmlands, forests, and hills. Arrive and relax in preparation for primate adventures.

Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest to observe feeding and playful chimpanzees. Afternoon Bigodi Wetland walk to spot birds, monkeys, and butterflies. Later, visit a nearby community to experience local culture.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy an evening game drive upon arrival.

Morning Kasenyi plains game drive in search of lions, elephants, Uganda kob, buffalo, and antelopes. Afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.

Travel to Bwindi, passing scenic hills and tea plantations. Arrive and prepare for gorilla trekking the next day.

Spend the day tracking habituated gorilla families, observing silverbacks, mothers, and infants. Afternoon visit to the Batwa community for cultural insights (0ptional).

Travel to Lake Mburo, then enjoy an evening game drive to spot zebras, giraffes, impalas, and antelopes.

Morning walking safari in Lake Mburo. Drive back to Entebbe, stopping for photos along the way. Depart from Entebbe International Airport or stay overnight.
