In our Rugby and Wildlife Adventure we take you around Uganda while at the same time enjoying your favorite sport as well as leaving a legacy in the community.

Njia African Adventure staff in uniforms will be holding your team name at the airport in Entebbe and drive directly to the hotel. Late afternoon training session followed by first team dinner and a big welcome to Africa is organized, which will be graced with best of African traditions, introductions and briefing on how the week will go.

Chilled breakfast as you set your mind to a very important day of the tour where you will leave an impact in the community. After your breakfast head for a drive through Kampala city centre and depending on numbers, we will split into different groups that will visit the schools, and age grade programs around Kampala. Among the programs to visit, included is a visit to Naguru Sports community and Acholi Quarters rugby club under Phillip Wokorach Foundation, a sport for development organization that uses rugby to promote the holistic development of underprivileged children, women and youth. Some of these programs are pushed to schools. The team will have an opportunity to have exchange programs with the foundation through offering girl child talks and coaching education, skill training with the children for the foundation and coaching in schools around Kampala.

Breakfast in the morning and depending on team plan you can hit a modern gym this morning for strength and conditioning training and then head back to the hotel for relaxation and team preps.
Refuel with a healthy lunch before making your way to Fixture 1 at Kyadondo Rugby Club, a rugby union ground in Kampala, Uganda built in 2000. Facilities include main ground, gym, a training/match pitch and club house. The ground is home to several club teams, among them Heathens RFC, a leading rugby club in Uganda. It has also hosted home games of the Uganda national rugby union team. The fixture to be played will be decided based on level of competition required for the visiting team and will be planned together with the Uganda Rugby Union.
After the fixture, in the early evening, head back to the hotel for refreshments while setting up for a team dinner and drinks with some of the players and officials from the other team. Good time for team bonding as you enjoy as a group after the fixture.

After breakfast, leave on the journey to Murchison Falls, arriving afternoon time. Before check-in at your hotel/lodge, the driver will lead you to see the thunderous Murchison Falls as a welcome into Uganda’s largest national park. The lodge is within the park boundaries so expect to see some elephants crossing as we arrive at the lodge, as well as baboons and many bird species. Continue viewing the park and the Falls with panoramic and breathtaking views across the extent of the park all the way to Lake Albert. Head to the thunderous waterfall which flow through a narrow gorge. Besides the beautiful view of the waterfall, you will take the best of photos as a group and as an individual while enjoying the sounds from the Falls.

This is our big day in the wilderness. After an early morning breakfast, our driver/guide will have a briefing with the group and thereafter take the group for a 2-3 hours game drive. Expect to view many giraffes, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, zebra, jackals and antelopes and as you continue with the drive, the range guide will search for lion. The game drive will take a maximum of three hours heading southwards to Victoria Nile, using the newly setup bridge you will cross to the southern part of Murchison Falls National Park.
Lunch and relaxation at Red Chili. After lunch, take a two-hour boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. During the boat cruise you will see more waterside-dwelling wildlife such as crocodiles, buffalo, lots of hippos, elephants at a close range and plenty of birds as you cruise to the bottom of the Falls. After the boat cruise, the driver will lead you out of the park through Budongo Forest arriving early evening in Masindi town for relaxation or take a walk around Masindi town before a healthy dinner.

After breakfast, you will head for your rhino tracking. After tracking, you will checkout of the lodge. Have a lunch stopover en route back to Kampala/Entebbe, arriving early evening to catch your onward flight.
