This safari takes you to some of Uganda's prime wildlife hot spots and is full of thrilling activities including gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, chimp tracking in Kyambura Gorge, rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and game drives in Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth National Parks.

Pick up from the airport by your driver guide who will transfer you to the Entebbe Botanical Beach Hotel or other where you will dine and spend the night. (FB)
After breakfast drive northwards to the renowned Murchison Falls National Park, with a stopover for your lunch in Masindi and also another at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rare rhinos that are protected in this sanctuary. Later arrive in Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest protected wildlife area covering 3,840 sq km. Go to the top of the Falls to view their natural beauty where the river squeezes itself through a 7 meter narrow gorge from a width of more than 1 km and drops below with a thunderous roar forming a water spray that results in a stunning rainbow – the wonders of the Nile River!

Have an early delicious breakfast then explore the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. With its high number of savannah wildlife, this game drive offers great opportunities to see elephants, lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, giraffes, waterbucks and hippos, and if you are fortunate even leopards, as well as a large number of bird species.
Following lunch, enjoy a 2-hour boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls from where great volumes water escapes through the small gorge forming an immense thunderous roar. During this boat ride you will see several water birds plus mammals in big numbers like hippos and crocodiles. Head back for dinner and slumber at your lodge.

Have breakfast then depart from Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park as you drive southwest through Fort Portal and the Albertine Escarpment of the Western Rift Valley. Have lunch on the way at Mountains of the Moon Hotel in Fort Portal town. From here continue to Mweya peninsula found in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the park in the evening, have dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Following an early breakfast, have a morning game drive to see the nocturnal predators as well as the early morning risers like lions, buffaloes, antelope species, leopards, waterbucks, elephants, hippos and warthogs. For birders, Queen Elizabeth is a paradise for birders hosting a diversity of migratory as well as Albertine Rift Endemics.

Have breakfast and set out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel for wonderful game viewing and bird watching. Head back to the lodge for your lunch and then continue to the Kyambura Gorge to track chimpanzees. If you are still on time you can go for a forest walk in Maramagambo forest to explore the bat cave as you look for pythons that feed on these bats. Dine and slumber at the lodge.

Today have an early breakfast and drive to Bwindi impenetrable Forest via the Ishasha region in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth to see tree-climbing lions that are prevalent in this area. Continue to where you will have lunch along the way. Have a community walk (the Batwa-Pygmy cultural experience and entertainment) in the evening. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the lodge of your choice

After breakfast proceed to the park’s headquarter to be briefed about the gorilla tracking before going into the verdant forest led by the rangers. If you are fortunate, it may take you about 2 hours or even less to see the amazing Bwindi giants. The experience of coming face to face with these peaceful primates is very overwhelming. Head back to the lodge where you will have lunch after tracking the gorillas. Relax at the lodge for the whole evening.

You will have breakfast and later return to Kampala/Entebbe having lunch along the way in Mbarara and eventually reach Kampala late in the afternoon where you will have a city tour. You will be transferred direct the airport for your outbound flight back home or transfer to your accommodation if you do not have a flight this evening.
