Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your accommodation. If you arrive early, you may choose to visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or take a relaxing sunset walk along Lake Victoria. Rest and prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, you will drive to Murchison Falls National Park (5-6 hours), with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. You will then proceed to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile River crashes through a 7-meter gorge. After enjoying the stunning view, you will transfer to your lodge for the night.

Wake up early for a morning game drive in the park’s northern section, where you may spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and antelopes. After lunch, take an afternoon boat safari along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch out for hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. Optionally, take a short hike to the top of the falls before returning to the lodge.

After breakfast, you will take a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park (6-7 hours), passing through rural villages, tea plantations, and rolling hills. Arrive in the evening and relax at your lodge in preparation for chimpanzee trekking the next day.

After an early briefing, embark on a guided chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale Forest, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. Spend an hour observing these fascinating primates. After lunch, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community conservation project rich in bird species, monkeys, and local culture.

Today, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park (3 hours), stopping at the crater lakes region for scenic photography. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where you may see lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, antelopes and many others

Start with a morning game drive in search of early morning predators. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and vibrant birdlife.

Drive to the Ishasha sector (2-3 hours). Check in to your accommodation, have lunch and then enjoy an evening game drive in search of tree-climbing lions. Ishasha is also home to large herds of topis, buffaloes, and elephants.

After breakfast, embark on a 4-5 hour scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Spend the rest of the day relaxing at your lodge in preparation for gorilla trekking the next day.

After an early briefing, head into the dense forest for the ultimate wildlife experience – gorilla trekking. The trek can take 2-6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location. Once you find them, spend an hour observing these incredible primates. Afterwards, return to your lodge to celebrate your achievement.

Drive to the breathtaking Lake Bunyonyi (2-3 hours), known as the “Switzerland of Africa” due to its scenic rolling hills. You can enjoy canoeing, birdwatching, or swimming.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park (4-5 hours). Upon arrival check in and relax as you enjoy the thrilling nature of Uganda, and a night game drive later, where you can see zebras, impalas, elands, and giraffes.

After breakfast you will then set off to the park for an unforgettable morning walking safari and you will later drive back to Entebbe (5-6 hours), stopping at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Entebbe.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit craft markets and take on a city tour around the capital city of Uganda-Kampala before your airport transfer. And this marks the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari.
