A representative will be waiting for you at the Airport ready to take you to your lodge for the evening situated on a beautiful coffee farm. Once settled in, gather in the evening for a pre-briefing and an equipment check. We will also check that you have the appropriate mandatory medical cover and travel insurance.
Overnight at Moivaro Coffee Lodge: breakfast & dinner
In the morning you will make your way to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game drives. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country and offers an array of wildlife viewing opportunities. The Lake attracts more than 350 different bird species and the reserve is home to the famous tree-climbing lions. After your afternoon game drive, make your way to lodge for the evening.
Overnight at Marera Valley Safari Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast head to Olduvai Gorge, known for some of the most important archaeological discoveries dating back more then 2 million years. It is here where the remains of ancient human ancestors were found. After lunch, make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park for an afternoon discovering this massive park with its great plains and rich game viewing opportunities. Annually, from December to March, millions of wildebeest embark on a migration in an incredible spectacle that you can witness. Later return to your tented camp for an evening under the stars.

One day is never enough to see all that the Serengeti has to offer. Departing early, we return to the park in the hopes of spotting the iconic cheetah as its prowls the plains in search of prey. Your guide will take you to some of the water pools to observe the hippos and crocodiles. The water can attract numerous other game during the heat of the day which you could also see. Leave the plains and make your way to the volcanic rocky outcrops enabling you to look out over the grasslands for some spectacular views.
Overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast, we will depart for another full day of exploring the Serengeti National Park. During the migration months, the massive herd of almost 2 million wildebeest can be seen stretching across the plains for over 40km’s. You will have a packed lunch before continuing with your game viewing and later heading back to camp.

After breakfast, depart for a full day of exploring the Ndutu area, well known for its stunning acacia woodland surrounded by grassland plains. Within this wooded area is Lake Ndutu, one of the Rift Valley’s soda lakes. The lake attracts hundreds of animals allowing for plentiful game viewing and stunning views.

Leave the Serengeti for the most diverse conservancy yet in the Ngorongoro Crater. This area provides the Maasai people with the opportunity to live as they have for hundreds of years and herd their cattle among the wild animals in the reserve. Learn more about this amazing volcanic structure before taking in the views of the caldera and the scattered animals below from the crater walls. Venture into this UNESCO World Heritage Site to discover all that lives within this stunning contained world. Large herds of animals are supported by natural year round water and food supplies. The only animal you will not see is giraffe as they cannot navigate the craters steep slopes because of their long legs.

After breakfast you will be heading to Tarangire National Park for some excellent game viewing with its year round water source that attracts hundreds of animals. Spend the evening at a beautiful lodge with stunning views.

Breakfast at the lodge before a leisurely day ahead, leaving you free to relax or to explore the Maasai and Datoga culture on a walk to visit the tribes. Learn about their history in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views.
Overnight at Tarangire Roika Tented Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Make your way to a lovely bungalow lodge, reminiscent of the traditional huts of the tribes you have just seen. The lodge is located near the airport in Arusha for a short transfer to catch your flight. The open-air bar has a magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro. Relax here by the pool for the remainder of the day before your flight. A dinner buffet will be provided for those flying out late.
