Day by Day Overview
A representative will be waiting for you at the Airport ready to take you to your lodge for the evening. Once settled in, gather in the evening for a pre-briefing and an equipment check. We will also check that you have the appropriate mandatory medical cover and travel insurance.
Overnight at Arusha Safari Lodge: breakfast & dinner
Breakfast at Arusha Safari Lodge before heading to a safari briefing and departing for Tarangire National Park. Your first safari experience, sure to be an exciting game drive through the vast park. Arrive in time for lunch and later an afternoon game drive for some more game viewing.
Overnight at Eileen’s Trees Inn Lodge: breakfast, lunch & dinner
In the morning you will make your way to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two-thirds of the park and attracts hundreds of flamingos in breeding season and is home to more than 350 other bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve and search for the famous tree-climbing lions.

After breakfast head to Olduvai Gorge, known as the ‘Cradle of Mankind’. It was here in the Great Rift Valley that the remains of early hominids, dating back 2 million years were discovered. Later you will visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, the vast Serengeti National Park with its 5,600 square mile boundary. The reserve will not disappoint when it comes to rich game viewing opportunities. Annually, millions of wildebeest embark on a migration in an incredible spectacle that you can witness. An afternoon picnic in the beautiful surrounding bush promises to be your wildest meal yet.
Overnight at Serengeti Acacia Tented Camp: breakfast, lunch & dinner
Leave the Serengeti for the most diverse park yet in the Ngorongoro Crater. From the top of the crater walls, the views of the caldera and scattered animals below are breathtaking. Venture into this UNESCO World Heritage Site to discover all that lives within this stunning contained world. Large herds of animals are supported by natural year round water and food supplies. Enjoy another picnic lunch and a final dinner before heading back to Arusha for the evening.
