Arrive in Delhi International Airport, where you’ll meet our representative at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel or to explore the surroundings on your own.

After breakfast, you’ll go on a sightseeing tour of Delhi starting with a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of Old Delhi built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. Then take an exciting cycle rickshaw ride through the labyrinth lanes of the Old Delhi market. Head to New Delhi and drive past the colonial buildings such as Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of President of India built by British architect Edwin Lutyens, Parliament House and India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to the soldiers who died in the 1st World War. End the tour with a visit to Qutab Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage site, a tall tapering minaret encompassed by several historically significant monuments to form the Qutab complex.

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport for your flight to Guwahati. Assistance on arrival at Guwahati airport and drive to Kaziranga (3–4hrs drive) where you check in to your hotel.
Kaziranga National Park is one of India’s finest and most picturesque wildlife parks, located on the banks of Brahmaputra River. Its tall grasslands and wetlands are the ideal habitat for the Asian one-horned rhinoceros as well as other wildlife including Indian elephants, Indian bison, swamp deer or barasingha, hog deer, water buffalo, Assamese macaque and golden langur. The park is also home to a wealth of avian species such as lesser white-fronted goose, ferruginous duck, lesser adjutant, greater adjutant, black-necked stork, white-bellied heron, dalmatian pelican, spot-billed pelican, Indian hornbill and many more.

Today proceed for two game drives in Kaziranga National Park in exclusive safari jeeps, the first in the early morning and the second in the afternoon. Explore the various fauna and avian species that reside in the park, especially the Asian one-horned rhino.

Early in the emorning go for a final jeep safari in the park to have a last glimpse of the Asian rhino. Post-lunch drive to Guwahati, on arrival check into hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel or an optionalvisit to Kamakhya temple can be arranged. Kamakhya temple, one of the most ancient temples in Guwahati, is set on the Nilachal Hill and dedicated to Goddess Kamakhya who is considered the core of female energy.

Activity: Kaziranga safari – morning
After breakfast transfer to Guwahati airport for a flight to Kolkata. You’ll be met on arrival and start exploring the vibrant culture of Kolkata. Reach Dalhousie Square and walk through the colonial part of the city exploring heritage buildings such as Writers Buildings, Governor House, GPO Building and Town Hall. Later visit the Missionaries of Charity, a holy place of pilgrimage and reverence established by Mother Teresa in 1950 with the purpose of selfless service to mankind and to uplift the plagued humanity. The next destination is St. Paul’s Cathedral, first Episcopal Church of the eastern world. Visit Victoria Memorial, a beautiful marble monument built by the British in memory of Queen Victoria. End the tour with a visit to Kali Temple at Kalighat. After the sightseeing proceed to your hotel and check-in.

After breakfast drive to Gadkhali boat jetty (2.5–3.5 hrs drive). Upon arrival board the motor country boat and transfer to the lodge located in the Sunderbans National Park. In the afternoon set out on a motorized boat to explore the beautiful mangrove forest and wildlife of Sunderbans National Park, especially the Royal Bengal tiger. Reach a watchtower and explore the surroundings.
Sunderbans National Park is a World Heritage Site as well as a tiger and biosphere reserve, located in the Sunderban delta of West Bengal and Bangladesh. The park provides a unique ecosystem and a rich wildlife habitat for the Bengal tiger, jungle cats, fishing cats, macaque, flying foxes, various deer species, olive ridley turtles, hawksbill turtle, estuarine crocodiles and much more. The forest is also home to around 286 bird species like brown-winged kingfishers, lesser adjutants, masked finfoots, ospreys, white-bellied sea eagles, grey-headed fish eagles, open billed storks, black-headed ibis, pheasant-tailed jacanas, pariah kites, brahminy kites, and more.

Enjoy a full day exploring the park by boat and on foot. Sail through the creeks and walk to the watchtowers to explore the sights and sounds of the untamed forest as well as its wildlife.

After an early breakfast, we start sailing for an hour through the narrow creeks and explore the beautiful forest for the last time. We will also see a local village and learn about their daily life. After an early lunch, you will be boat transferred to Gothkhali jetty and from there drive to Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata, check in to your hotel. The rest of the time is free to explore the local markets on your own.
