Arrive in Ahmedabad where our representative will meet you and take you to your hotel before visiting Indira Park. Here you will watch the sunset on the shore of the beautiful Kankaria Lake.
After breakfast you will visit Nalsarovar National Park to see the many migratory birds that make their way to this amazing sanctuary every winter. Later you will return to Ahmedabad for lunch before some sightseeing, visiting the Gandhi Ashram, Adaljestepvel and Sarkhejroja. Spend the evening wandering the bustling local markets of Ahmedabad.
In the morning you will visit Lothal, a historical place that is connected to the civilization of the Indus Valley. Historical objects from 2400 BC have been preserved which you can view. Later head to the Velavadar Blackbuck Reserve for the evening.
After breakfast you will go for a safari in the Reserve, exploring the vast grasslands in search of the beautiful wild animals that call the park home. Look for nilgai, hunter wolf, spotted hyena and jackal but most importantly the famous blackbuck. After lunch you will travel to Gir Forest National Park for the evening with amazing views of the Kamleshwar Dam and visit the crocodile breeding farm.
After breakfast you will enjoy a game drive in the park in an open top jeep as you search for the asiatic lions that inhabit the area. Also search for the many rare birds here including the cuckoo, bush quail, flycatcher, eagles and parrots. Later make your way to Jamnagar and spend the evening on the shores of Lake Lhota.
Today you will visit the Khijadiya Bird Sanctuary for a chance to see the purple moorhen and pheasant-tailed jacana. Later make your way to the Jamnagar Marine National Park with its mangrove forest. See many marine animals that inhabit the park.
After breakfast you will travel to Nakhtrana to see the Nalia grassland famous for being the habitat of the Great Indian Bustard. See many wonderful creatures including a wide variety of small reptiles before enjoying the sunset.
Visit The Great Rann of Kutch salt marsh and Banni grasslands where you will see wild animals like desert cats and wolves. You will also visit the the Bani village where you will see traditional homes and see people making many crafts. The attire and food here are interesting and totally different to the outside world. Return to your resort in the evening.
In the morning you will travel to the Little Rann of Kutch, a vast open landscape teeming with beautiful wildlife. Arrive in the evening after traveling through many remote villages with spectacular views along the way.
After breakfast you will head out on a safari across the plains of Little Rann of Kutch. Here you will see wild donkeys and beautlful short-eared owls. Later travel back to Ahmedabad and visit the Sun Temple of Modhera where you can see the beautiful carvings and sculptures in this ancient temple.
After breakfast you will be taken to the Ahmedabad airport or railway station where you will travel to your next destination.
