South Africa

Guided, Small Group

Camping, Mid Range
Take a walk on the wild side and join us on one of our unique Kruger tours. On this 4-day tour you get the best of both worlds by spending some time in our custom designed adventure truck (excellent photo opportunities from a high vantage point) and the rest of the time in an open topped safari vehicle specifically designed for Kruger game viewing.
Experience the thrill of being on safari, observing the big 5 as well as zebras, giraffe and rhinos and be inspired by an authentically African atmosphere in the largest game reserve in South Africa. Kruger is larger than some small countries in Europe and is just less than two million hectares of conservation area. There will be early morning game walks, evening game drives and before returning back to Johannesburg, we will visit the Panorama Route and view Gods Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels – all part of the World Heritage Blyde River Canyon. The Blyde River Canyon is the third largest canyon in the world. As you follow the winding path, you have to stop and stare in wonder at the astonishing panoramic views below, as the sheer edges of the cliff drop down 800m into the river below.
Camping – from € 615 per person
Luxury Tent / Double Room – from € 699 per person
Please be sure to arrive in Johannesburg on this day as the tour starts at 7:00 am tomorrow morning at the Belvedere Estate, Midrand, Johannesburg. We will assist with booking accommodation in Johannesburg the night before (from USD 50 per person).
We leave the city of Johannesburg behind us and make our way east through the coal fields of Mpumalanga. Our journey today follows in the footsteps of the ancient trade routes to the Lowveld and the Kruger National Park. We will camp at our base for the next three nights and enjoy a nice sundowner ride.

This morning we enter the Kruger National Park to enjoy wildlife watching all day. Our activity pack gives you the opportunity to explore the park in open wildlife vehicles, giving you access to areas our truck can not always use.

As usual on a safari, we get up early to enjoy a guided bush walk. Walking in the bush provides a unique opportunity to appreciate the small details of this magnificent wilderness area. After the hike we leave the park and drive along the scenic road where we visit God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the Three Rondavels. In the evening we return to camp for a nice dinner and dance.

We enjoy our last drive through the park before heading to the Belvedere Estate. We arrive here in the late afternoon and all travellers are invited to a traditional meal tonight. This can be booked with your guide the day before arrival if you extend your trip. Have a safe trip home!
