Leave the southern point of Africa behind as you enjoy a direct flight from Cape Town Airport to the only airport in the heart of the renowned Kruger National Park, Skukuza Airport. You will be met on arrival by a representative from Rhino Post Safari Lodge for your scenic transfer to the lodge.
Rhino Post Safari Lodge is situated at the southern end of our 12,000 hectare private wilderness concession in the Kruger National Park. The concession shares a 15km unfenced boundary with the famous Mala Mala and Sabi Sand reserve with an abundance of wildlife moving freely between the two reserves. The concession is noted as an excellent game viewing area with encounters with the Big Five where good sightings of wild animals can be expected. Rhino Post Safari Lodge offers professionally guided morning and evening safari drives conducted in specially adapted open Land Cruisers. Driving is done on both private gravel roads within the concession and on Kruger National Park roads. To preserve our 12,000 hectare wilderness concession, no off-roading is practiced. In addition, the lodge has use of some of the Kruger National Park public roads at night.
Kruger is one of the premier game-watching destinations in the world. Approximately 147 mammal species occur in the park. It is possible to see all the classical African big game, including elephant (KNP Elephant Census Summary), black and white rhino, hippopotamus, giraffe, zebra, buffalo, warthog and many antelope species. Large carnivores include lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena. There are also many smaller mammals equally enticing species.

Bid your hosts farewell before enjoying your last drive through the Kruger Park en route to the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport. Here you will board a regional flight to Livingstone, Zambia. It is the main hub in Zambia for visitors to the world-famous Victoria Falls but also offers a wealth of activities to be enjoyed in adjoining Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. The town is named after the Scottish explorer, David Livingstone, his life’s exploits and story can be viewed in the Livingstone Museum.
On arrival you will be met by a representative of the hotel, Avani Victoria Falls. The hotel has the envious position of being only a mere 10-minute walk from the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls to which guests of the hotel have unlimited access during their stay. With its out stretched gardens, swimming pool, two restaurants and comfortable rooms the hotel makes for the ideal residence from which to explore Livingstone and all it has to offer. During your time we strongly recommend visiting the Victoria Falls from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean side to take in the full breathtaking natural wonder. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi river and a helicopter flight over the Falls are also very popular. Activities can be booked up front or with the tour desk located in the hotel.
