After an early breakfast and some coffee, you will drive to the park’s headquarter for a pre-trek briefing and then begin your hike into the forest as you search for the chimps. As you trek through the forest, you may see various other primate species among the numerous bird and butterfly species. Once you find the chimpanzees, you will be able to spend an hour with the group, watching their family interactions. After your time in the forest, you will head back to the lodge, making your way via a local community. Arrive at the lodge and enjoy some lunch and relax by the pool. In the late afternoon you have the choice of going on an optional community walk or enjoying a massage.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through Fort Portal and the foothills of the Mountain of the Moon. An en-route stop at the equator for some photos before continuing to your lodge for lunch. Enjoy some leisure time relaxing at the pool and later head out for an evening sundowner game drive in search of herds of elephants and the big cats. Return to camp for some dinner after some spectacular game viewing.
After witnessing a beautiful sunrise from the lodge terrace while enjoying a leisurely breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, which form part of the vast Savannah of the Albertine Rift Valley in the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Later you will return to camp for lunch before heading out for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel in the afternoon. Here you will be able to enjoy a different game viewing experience as you float past the animals that have come to drink. In the evening you will make your way back to the lodge in time for sunset drinks by the fire before dinner.

If you are lucky, you will be able to see the lions perched in a fig tree, keeping an eye out for the antelopes that roam the area. Have a picnic lunch beside the Ishasha River and enjoy sightings of the many hippos wallowing in the water and seeing the elephants come to drink.
