This is a group joining safari, with a maximum of six people per safari vehicle. Experience Tanzania's unforgettable wilderness, taking you to the Serengeti National Park, the heart of wild Africa and a massive wilderness of 14,500 square km, as well as Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa, and Tarangire National Park, famous for its baobabs and huge elephant herds.
From USD 900 per person
You will travel up to Tarangire National Park, which is the surprise package on the northern circuit. Often overshadowed by the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire has immense concentrations of game in the peak months and a fraction of the visitors that go to any of the other northern parks. The game viewing here from July through to October is superb and the atmosphere and habitat is completely different from the other parks. The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, oryx and generuk, although are very rare. If you visit the park during the dry season, you will witness an unforgettable natural wonder as you can observe wonderful creatures such as lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo, wildebeest and zebra as well as various types of antelopes and gazelles and with a little luck, you can also spot a python. Tarangire is also one of Tanzania’s finest birding destinations.

In the early morning, you head to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game watching and photographing in Serengeti National Park. Today you will have a long interesting journey with game drive en route to Nabi Hill Gate where you are going to have lunch around 14:30 while your driver confirms the entrance fees. Grab all the best view points of superb landscapes on your way to Serengeti and have a view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Late in the afternoon, you will have a game watching drive in the Serengeti until the sunset. After seeing the sunset, prepare for shower, dinner and overnight stay at Seronera Campsite in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Wildlife statistics currently measure that the Serengeti has herbivore species of over 1,300,000 wildebeests, 250,000 Thomson’s gazelles, 200,000 zebras, 70,000 impalas, 50,000 topis, 30,000 grants gazelles, 10,000 lands, and many antelopes and hundreds of predators.

On this day we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll start the drive to Ngorongoro Crater while enjoying game viewing along the road.
Masai Cultural Experience Option: You will visit one of the Maasai bomas in Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you will get a chance to interact with the Maasai people, singing with them, learning their history, life style and daily economic activities.
Accommodation: Simba Public Campsite – FB
We will start the day very early and descend into the crater floor for an incredible morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. Ngorongoro Crater is considered one the wonders of the natural world. The crater spreads for 102 sq miles and has 2,000 ft high walls, making it virtually a ‘Noah’s Ark’, home to almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world with huge tusks. After a fantastic afternoon game drive, ascend the crater and return to Arusha town for overnight.
