Tour Overview
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is in northern Tanzania, home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the ‘big 5’ game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino) as well as huge herds of wildebeests and zebras, which traverse its plains during their annual migration. Livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe graze alongside wild animals while hominin fossils found in the Olduvai Gorge date back millions of years.

Day by Day Overview
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (or other pick up point), where you will meet a Majali guide, and be transferred to the hotel (check-in is at 2 pm). In the evening there will be a briefing with our managers.
Overnight: hotel in Moshi
Pick up from the hotel in Moshi and transfer to Ngorongoro, with en-route game viewing followed by half a day game drive on the crater rim. Late afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge on the crater rim for dinner and overnight.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, full board
Breakfast and depart with a picnic lunch for a full day crater tour, exploring what the crater is famous for: its great concentration and variety of wildlife. Return to the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.
