Your journey begins as you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), where you’ll be warmly welcomed by our professional representative. After a short briefing, you’ll transfer to your lodge in Arusha. The drive offers your first glimpse of Tanzania’s lush highlands rolling coffee plantations, banana groves, and the majestic outline of Mount Meru in the distance. Upon arrival, check in at Forest Hill Carnival Hotel, a tranquil retreat nestled amid greenery and birdsong. Spend your evening relaxing by the garden or enjoying a refreshing drink by the bar as you recover from your journey.

After breakfast, set out for a full-day adventure in Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most beautiful yet underrated destinations. The park’s diversity is astonishing from lush montane forests filled with Colobus monkeys, to the open savannah where giraffes and buffaloes graze peacefully, and the shimmering Momella Lakes that attract flocks of flamingos and countless bird species. You’ll enjoy a scenic picnic lunch with a view of the lakes, and on clear days, the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro can be seen on the horizon. Later, continue your game drive through the forested slopes of Mount Meru, where you might spot bushbucks, warthogs, and waterbucks before returning to your lodge in the evening.
