Day by Day Overview
You will be met by one of our company representatives at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) upon your arrival and given a short briefing about your safari. Thereafter, depart for the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival check in, have lunch, and short relaxation. Thereafter, go for an afternoon game drive until the evening. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Dinner and accommodation at Mara Maisha
On these days, you can choose between the three options depending on your flexibility and preference:
Option 1: Have breakfast and then proceed for full day game viewing with packed lunch boxes in Kenya’s finest wildlife reserve – the Maasai Mara National Reserve searching for the big five and other animals.
Option 2: You may opt for an early morning game drive searching for big cats making a kill then return to the lodge to freshen up and have breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at your leisure either swimming, reading a book or just relaxing. Later have lunch and proceed for another afternoon/evening game drive in search of the big five and other animals.
Option 3: You may choose to go an optional Hot Air Balloon Safari Experience (USD 490 per person.) Ideally, you will be picked up early in the morning from your lodge and transferred to the launch Site. The whole experience takes about an hour and a half. From there, you can proceed with game drives with packed lunch until the evening combing the wild in search of the big five and other wildlife. You can also visit a Maasai Mara Cultural Village to learn more about their culture and traditions (USD 30 Per Person). Return to the lodge for a shower, relaxation and thereafter dinner.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Maisha
Early morning breakfast and then a game drive looking for animals as you leave the park. You will drive back to Nairobi for your afternoon flight to Diani. Arrive late in the afternoon, check in and you’re ready for relaxation as you enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches of Diani.
Dinner and overnight at Diamond Beach Resort & Golf Resort
You have a full day of relaxation with an option of a variety of activities and sports offered by the resort. Try out the mini-golf game or enjoy a game of tennis. Later head to the ocean. Surrounded by premier diving sites, it is a gateway to an underwater wonderland. After lunch, take a discovery stroll around the coastal town of Diani. Diani opens onto a vast expanse of white sand and it is probably the most picturesque of Kenya’s beaches.
Dinner and overnight at Diamond Beach Resort & Golf Resort
Wake up to enjoy a well-prepared late tropical breakfast. The day is yours to fill as you please. Treat yourself to a soothing massage (optional), sit on a secluded beach while the gentle waves cool your feet one last time. You will check out at around 1000 hrs for your afternoon flight back to Nairobi and thereafter connect to your homebound flight. Bid farewell to Africa, taking with you a lifetime of adventurous memories.
