Upon arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet and greet by our local representative from African Paradise Safaris and their guides. You will be transferred to city hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a city tour, visit to giraffe park or relax at the hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, check out and drive through the cool Rift Valley environment towards Lake Nakuru. Drive through the park and arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, a small park with over 50% of its area covered by the lake. Located in the middle of the Rift valley, Lake Nakuru has a wide variety of animals including the Rothschild giraffe, lions, white and black rhinos as well as leopard. The park is also considered by bird watchers as an ornithological paradise. A myriad of both greater and lesser flamingos have made this lake their home. After breakfast at the lodge, head southwards to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive in the reserve. This is an exploratory drive around the 1,792 sq km game park with its low hills, savannah type rolling grasslands, forest on the Mara River and its tributaries. Get introduced to the herbivores; elephant, rhino, buffalo, a variety of antelopes, Masai giraffe and Burchell’s zebra. The carnivores here are the black mane lion, cheetah and leopard. Also look out for the largest bird, the Masai ostrich, as well as the secretary bird, crested crane and saddle-bill stork. Crocodiles and hippos share the river. Return to your lodge by sunset. There’s an optional early morning balloon safari ride across the Maasai Mara plain, an incredible experience. Breakfast at the lodge then enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara, an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south, where game abounds. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males, as well as the great annual migration when over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the mighty Mara River. You will have an early morning breakfast then depart to Isibania border with a packed lunch, on your way to Serengeti National Park. At the border, clear immigration then exchange vehicle into the one you will be using while in Tanzania. Head to the Serengeti National Park and arrive in the evening in time for dinner and relaxing. These two full days you will explore central Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. After breakfast leave your lodge with a packed lunch (or have lunch at the lodge) with game drives in the park. Tanzania’s Serengeti offers superb game-viewing even out of migration time, when vast herds of buffalo, eland, topi, waterbuck, impala, kongoni and Grant’s gazelle can be seen grazing in the thousands. The Serengeti is famous not only for its migrating wildebeest and herbivores but also for its high concentration of big cats and other predators that these grazers attract. It’ also home to smaller cats, such as the caracal and serval, as well as jackal, fox, mongoose and genet. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp – full board.

Today you will wake have your early and drive to Ngorongoro with an en route game drive. Arrive at the lodge in time for an early lunch. Afterwards depart on an afternoon game drive at the crater. With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq miles, the crater is a virtual ‘Noah’s Ark’, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake that, from the top, looks like stream, full of flamingos, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. They are the most incredible elephants you’ll ever see in your life. Dinner and overnight at Ngoro Ngoro Rhino Lodge – full board.
