Day by Day Overview
Pick up from Moshi or Arusha and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game drives. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhinos and prides of lions that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see include leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. In the late afternoon drive to the Ngorongoro Wild Camp or similar to enjoy your evening.

Head out after breakfast for a drive to Serengeti National Park. The word “Serengeti” is derived from the Maasai language meaning 2ndless plain”. En route to Serengeti, you can choose to visit a Maasai village, a perfect place to explore the Maasai culture and to even participate in some cultural activities. Later on, enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.

After breakfast, venture into the Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. In the late evening, go to the Serengeti Wildebeest Camp or similar for rest, dinner, and overnight.
