Day by Day Overview
Depart from Arusha and make your way to the Serengeti National Park. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Highlands and will have the opportunity to enjoy some breathtaking views of the crater en-route. An optional stop at a Maasai village to learn about their lion hunting traditions and experience some traditional dancing before continuing to the great plains of the Serengeti. Enjoy a late afternoon drive in the park topped off with a stunning sunset before making your way to your campsite for the evening.
Overnight at Seronera Campsite: lunch & dinner
Rise early for a quick breakfast before heading out for the chance to go on a morning game drive in the Seronera area. Explore the plains in search of the many animals you have come to see and traverse the beautiful landscapes before making your way back to camp for lunch. Head out for an en-route afternoon game drive as you exit the park and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. Make your way to your campsite for the evening.
Overnight at Simba Campsite: breakfast, lunch & dinner
After breakfast you will descend into the crater and begin your search for the endangered black rhino. Make your way through the incredibly diverse world that lies within the rim walls and enjoy spectacular wildlife sightings of the animals within the park. Later you will enjoy a lunch in the reserve and some more game viewing before making your way out of the crater and driving back to Arusha.
