• Gorilla & Chimpanzee Permits: Gorilla permits (USD 800) and chimpanzee permits (USD 250) are included in the tour cost. Permits are limited and subject to availability, so early booking is essential. • Packing Essentials: Bring sturdy hiking boots, rain gear, insect repellent, sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, long-sleeved clothing, and a reusable water bottle. • Weather & Altitude: Uganda's climate is tropical with varying elevations. Evenings can be chilly in Bwindi and Kibale. Pack layers and prepare for rain, especially in forested areas. • Visa & Entry: Visitors to Uganda need to obtain a Ugandan Visa (USD 50pp) though Most travellers require an East African Tourist Visa (USD 100pp), which covers Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. Apply online before travel if visiting more than one of these. • Transport & Guide: All ground transfers are in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle with professional tour guides. • Community Support: This tour supports local communities through responsible tourism, including optional visits to Batwa villages and women's craft cooperatives.

Day by Day Overview
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be welcomed by our safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Relax and recover from your journey with an optional walk along Lake Victoria shores.

After breakfast, at 7:00 am you will depart for Murchison Falls National Park. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track Uganda’s only rhinos on foot. Proceed to the park, arriving in time to visit the top of the Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a 7-metre gorge before plunging 43 metres. You will have a mini game drive en-route to your lodge.

Embark on an early morning game drive across the northern plains in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards and more. After lunch, enjoy a thrilling boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison Falls, with close-up sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and aquatic birds.

After breakfast, drive south to Kibale Forest National Park, home to 13 species of primates. Upon arrival, take a guided walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for rich birdlife including the great blue turaco. Kibale Forest National Park is East Africa’s renowned haven for primate watching.

After early breakfast, go for an unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale. You will report at Kanyanchu Park headquarters for a morning briefing and registration before embarking on this amazing exercise. Later, you will set off for the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for a relaxing Kazinga Channel boat cruise, perfect for spotting elephants, hippos, buffalo, and vibrant bird species.

After breakfast, you will hit the road for the drive to Bwindi Forest National Park. Drive through the Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions resting in fig trees. Enjoy a game drive en route before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to nearly half the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

After an early breakfast, head to the Bwindi park headquarters for ba riefing. Then begin the life-changing gorilla trekking adventure through dense forest terrain. Spend one magical hour with a gorilla family. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmy community for a cultural experience.
