This 1-Day Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari takes you to one of the smallest national parks in Uganda – Lake Mburo National Park which is located approximately 240km west of Kampala. It takes you about four hours to drive to the park, which is home to over 68 mammal species such as buffaloes, bush pigs, leopards and zebras as well as various bird species. It is famous for having large numbers of zebras. The park also has great scenery starting from rolling hills and lush forests to savannah grasslands.

Day Overview
You will have a morning breakfast at your hotel in Kampala after which you will be picked up by our driver guide. He will brief you more about this safari to Lake Mburo. You will then drive towards the western part of Uganda through towns like Lyantonde and Masaka. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photos.
On arrival in the park, enjoy lunch at a hotel or lodge of your choice. As you walk along the park trails you will spot various animals such as elands, warthogs, buffaloes, zebras and waterbucks. Later you will have a boat ride along the lake where you will have a great time having a chance to see different animals like crocodiles, hippos, topis and birds such as fish eagles. Later you will return to Kampala.
