Day by Day Overview
Pick up from Nairobi hotel or airport in the early morning. Depart Nairobi for Amboseli National Park, a drive of less than 5 hours to Amboseli, which lies at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. You will arrive with a short game drive, proceeding to your lodge for check-in and have lunch. Later in the afternoon enjoy another game drive. Mount Kilimanjaro offers a scenic background for photography of elephants, lions, cheetah and buffalo, which can be seen at the swamp area. Later dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Early morning game drive and later return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast a full day is spent in the park with a packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Early morning breakfast before departure for Lake Nakuru National Park. You will have lunch enroute at Nairobi. Then proceed on to Lake Nakuru for evening game drive. A large variety of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After a leisurely breakfast at your lodge, depart overland to the Masai Mara Game Reserve-jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. This enormous Reserve is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five – lion, elephant, leopard, rhino and cape buffalo. After lunch, explore the reserve on a late evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
This day you will have a full day game drive and therefore you will wake up early in the morning and take breakfast the head to the wild in search of the big five, the giraffes, different species of birds and many more other animals. You will be having a picnic lunch at an open place where you can see all corners of the park. After that you continue with the game drive until evening then go back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Wake up and have breakfast. Pass by the Masai village, learn their culture and their customs. Later embark on your journey back to Nairobi with a lunch stop over along the way. Drop off at the agreed point.
