The minimum age to book this safari alone is 16 years old, however we accept children from 4 years old and above if accompanied by an adult. Children under 13 years old will receive a discount. The price above may vary depending on dates booked and accommodation comfort options. Small, private groups ensure a maximum of three photographers per vehicle, ensuring you have the space you need to capture your desired images. Long lenses are not required and we recommend 80mm-400mm lenses. Please contacts us for further information in this regard.

Day by Day Overview

On of our representatives will pick you up at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After a warm welcome you will be escorted to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure as you await the start of your safari.

After breakfast you will be taken to the airport to catch your light aircraft flight to the Northern Serengeti. Slightly over three hours of flying time gives you the opportunity to see numerous regions of Tanzania from the air before landing in the famous Serengeti National Park. You will be greeted by your guide when you land and make the journey to your camp. Enjoy some lunch and head out on your first afternoon game drive.

Explore the northern regions of the park, making your way to the Mara River, the sight of the infamous river crossing and the rolling northern hills. Both unique wilderness habitats, teeming with animals and offering amazing sightings. Make your way across the beautiful landscapes for the next three days, taking stunning photos along the way.

Today you make your way south to the central Serengeti and have the opportunity to experience the vastness of the Serengeti Plains for the first time. The word ‘Serengeti’ comes from the Maasai word ‘Siringet’, meaning ‘the land that flows on forever’. The plains are home to the huge herds of migrating wildebeest and zebra that cross these lands every year on a journey between Tanzania and Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch and later you will head out for your afternoon drive.

During your time in the central Serengeti you will have the opportunity to see the massive herds and the African big cats that pursue them. Enjoy exciting sightings, surrounded by over 2 million animals as you make your way into the middle of the herds. Wake up early for the best opportunity to see the lions, leopards and cheetahs on a hunt. Explore this vast region and get a sense of the size of the huge reserve, providing amazing photographs throughout.

Make your way to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Within the walls of the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera lies the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa, filled with more then 30,000 animals. Explore this spectacular reserve with phenomenal wildlife sightings in an amazing setting. Capture photographs of the big five and most notably, the endangered black rhino amongst numerous other animal and bird life.

Explore the Tarangire National Park, the baobab capital of the world and the park that boasts Tanzania’s largest wildlife population outside the Serengeti, including over 550 bird species that frequent its seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River helps sustain huge herds of elephant during the dry season, offering amazing sightings of these gentle giants. You may also see eland and wild dog that roam the reserve in addition to the rare fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk.

In the morning you will make your way back to Arusha. An en-route cultural stop for lunch and some souvenir shopping before driving to your hotel. You will have the use of a day room before making your way to the airport to catch your flight after an amazing photographic safari filled with hundreds of spectacular wildlife sightings.
