Day by Day Overview

After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and receive a short briefing before you set off for the Serengeti National Park. Stop for a picnic-lunch in the Ngorongoro Highlands and visit the Olduvai Gorge Museum to learn about Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. The site is home to some of man’s early hominid ancestors. Later you will make your way to the central Serengeti. In the afternoon you will enjoy your first en-route game drive as you make your way to your camp for the evening.

Today you will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the Serengeti National Park, making your way across one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Explore the vast, seemingly unending plains that are inhabited by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra during the migration season. In the evening you will make your way back to camp for a relaxing evening under the stars.

Enjoy another full day in the reserve, searching for the animals you have yet to find. The park is home to thousands of animals including the big five. If you are lucky you may also see the beautiful cheetah, that hunt in the open plains of this east African paradise. In the evening you will make your way back to your camp to enjoy a final sunset in this magical place before enjoying a delicious dinner.

In the morning you will head out on your final morning game drive before making your way back to Arusha. You will arrive in the late afternoon and depending on your onward travel arrangements you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport. If time allows, you will be able to visit some souvenir and local jewellery shops before the end of your trip.
