Day by Day Overview
A morning pick-up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha before heading towards to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a day of game drives and a picnic lunch in the park. The reserve is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. The park sees an annual migration of up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Later in the afternoon we will drive to Karatu.
Overnight at Marera Valley Lodge: dinner, breakfast & packed lunch
After breakfast, depart for the Serengeti National Park. We will be leaving the highlands behind as we descend into the heart of wild Africa. Enter the famous park with its endless plains, stretching as far as the eye can see. We will make our way to the centre of the park to an area known as Seronera, one of the richest wildlife regions in the park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch before heading to your camp for the evening.
Overnight at Serengeti thorn tree tented camp: dinner, breakfast & lunch
After breakfast head to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater and descend 600 meters into the volcanic caldera as you explore this amazing place, filled with over 2,500 species of fauna and flora. Search for black rhino, leopard, lion and much more during the day’s game drives. Later enjoy your packed lunch beside a hippo pool. Later continue with your game viewing before heading out of the crater to Karatu for the evening.
Overnight at Bougainvillea Safari lodge: dinner, breakfast & lunch
After breakfast depart for Lake Manyara National Park which is famous for its tree-climbing lions. Explore the park in search of baboon, giraffe, buffalo and much more including many bird species. Enjoy a packed lunch in the park and later return to Arusha to your hotel or the airport for your flight home.
