Day by Day Overveiw
Meet and greet by Dust Absolut staff member. You will be transferred to your accommodation. After dinner, your guide will brief you about the next day’s program.
- Overnight at Airport Link Guest House
- Appx: 10 min drive time
We set off in the morning to Kibale Forest where the sounds of nature awaits you – arriving at Fort Portal town in time for lunch.
- Overnight at Chimp Forest Lodge
- Appx: 6 hours drive time
On this day, the forest will open its doors for chimpanzee trekking and later experience Tinka’s homestead as he tells us stories about Bigodi while his wife prepares her local delicacy.
- Overnight at Chimp Forest Lodge
With beautiful views of the crater lakes and Rwenzori (mountains of the moon) we shall drive to via Kasenyi plains. Later check into our accommodation in time for lunch and then relax for the evening.

- Appx: 2hrs drive
We shall start our day with a game drive and launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon.

After breakfast we drive to Ishasha sector in search of the tree climbing lions and then head out to the south to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

- Appx: 6hrs drive time
Day of gorilla tracking: after about 10 mins drive, we shall check in at the park start-point where we will be allocated a gorilla family and rangers who will take us into the forest for a chance to see the gentle giants in their natural habitat.

With beautiful scenic views and escarpments, making photographic stop-overs, our journey will take us to this small and intimate park. Stop for lunch in Mbarara before we go into the park for an evening game drive.
- Overnight at: Hyena Hill Lodge
- Appx: 4hrs transfer time
Our final day in Uganda will see us going back to Entebbe for our flight back home. We shall make a stop-over at the Equator for one last experiment.
