Day by Day Overview
The safari begins in Victoria Falls, a small tourist town on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The main attraction is of course the thundering falls but the town attracts adventure travelers from around the world because of the number of extreme sports that are on offer. Popular activities include helicopter and microlight flights over the falls, bungee jumping, white water rafting and jet boat rides. The town also offers some excellent restaurant options and an array of Zimbabwean curios. In the evening you will make your way to the river for a dinner cruise on the Zambezi Reflections, a floating restaurant offering magnificent views of the sunset as the day draws to a close.
Overnight at Victoria Falls Hotel: bed & breakfast
The Victoria Falls Hotel where you will be staying is situated in the Victoria Falls National Park and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens and lily ponds, providing a tranquil setting with easy access to the famous Mosi-O-Tunya or the smoke that thunders. Enjoy a guided tour of the falls and later you can decide between an elephant-back safari, a lion walk or a helicopter flip over the falls. In the evening you will make your way to the Boma Restaurant for a delicious dinner and a drum show for an entertaining African cultural experience. Enjoy dinner under the stars before making your way back to the hotel for the evening.
Overnight at Victoria Falls Hotel: bed & breakfast
In the morning you will make your way across the border into Botswana and head to the Chobe National Park that sits along the Chobe River. The reserve is known for its abundant game and spectacular wildlife sightings particularly those of the large elephant and hippo populations. Explore the park in search of lion, buffalo and various other animals including rare birdlife. Head out on a boat cruise, deciding between a large boat with a bar versus a smaller boat that allows you to get close to the banks and is better for bird watching. In the evening you will make your way back to camp for dinner.
Overnight at Chobe Safari Lodge: breakfast & dinner
Today you will have the opportunity to go on a game drive in the park in search of the many beautiful animals that roam the park. Game drives offer the chance to get really close to the African elephants, the largest land mammal on earth. Search for the big cats while out in the bush and if you choose, you have the option of stopping for picnic lunch. In the afternoon you will head out on another boat cruise along the Chobe River for a sunset cruise. Later head back to the lodge for a delicious dinner.

In the morning after breakfast you will make your way to the Okavango Delta, the largest inland delta in the world. A spectacular oasis that transforms the Kalahari Desert into a water world, supporting a vast array of wildlife including rhino, leopard, numerous antelope and crocodiles to name a few. You will get the chance to explore the reserve by boat as you make your way through the crystal clear water ways in search of the spectacular wildlife, returning to camp for meals and the chance to relax in the heat of the day.
Overnight at Delta Camp: all-inclusive
The lodge you will be staying in is built from natural materials and the rooms are elevated off the forest floor, providing beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Today guests can visit a local village for a chance to interact with some of the community members. Later you will have the opportunity to search for more wildlife including some of the 450 bird species in the area. Explore this beautiful wilderness by Mokoro boat before returning to camp for an evening under the stars.
Overnight at Delta Camp: all-inclusive
Today you will make your way to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for the chance to meet the Kalahari bushmen. Enjoy two nights in your luxury lodge while being able to go on a guided bush walk, lead by the famous San bushmen. Your guide will take you through the bush and teach you some hunting and survival skills, offering insight into their ancient culture. Marvel at their amazing ability to survive in the harsh desert environment before making your way back to your lodge, happy to be enjoying a delicious dinner in modern comfort.
Overnight at Deception Valley Lodge: all-inclusive
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the second largest game reserve in the world and one of the least visited. Nothing can prepare you for the sheer amazement you will experience when exploring this vast reserve and its wild, untouched beauty. The landscape is dominated by sand veld, acacias and Kalahari apple-leaf, interspersed by grasslands and dotted with occasional sand dunes, pans and fossil river valleys. Discover the many animals in the reserve while noticing the one obviously missing animal, humans. Enjoy the silence and emptiness before returning to camp for your final evening of the safari.

After breakfast, depending on the time of your flight, you will have the opportunity to explore some more of the reserve before heading out of the park to catch your flight after an amazing African safari.
