Day by Day Overview

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning drive from Nairobi to the Masai Mara, a world-renowned wildlife reserve. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley, arriving in the Mara in time for lunch. After settling into your lodge or camp, embark on your first game drive to spot wildlife such as lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara. The vast plains offer an excellent chance to see a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive in the afternoon. You may also have the option to visit a Maasai village to learn about the local culture. After a thrilling day of game viewing, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mara 3

After breakfast, drive to Isebania to cross the border into Tanzania. Once you’ve completed immigration formalities, continue to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous park. Picnic lunch enroute. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge. In the evening, enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti, which is home to the Great Migration (if visiting during migration season) and abundant wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Mara 6

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti. This vast park offers some of the best wildlife sightings in the world, from large herds of wildebeest during the migration to predators like lions and leopards hunting in the open plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your game drive. After an exciting day, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, you’ll experience stunning landscapes as you approach the crater. After lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, and flamingos. The caldera is one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. After a day of exploration, return to the crater rim for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, enjoy another early morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater before ascending the rim. Once you’ve completed your crater tour, head to Arusha, a charming town that serves as a gateway to Tanzania’s northern circuit. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the afternoon at leisure to explore the town or relax. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Arusha.

Spend a full day in Arusha, where you can visit local markets, explore nearby cultural sites, or take a scenic walk in the surrounding areas. You may also opt for a half-day excursion to nearby attractions like the cultural heritage museum or a coffee plantation tour. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you’ll have a leisurely morning in Arusha. You will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your flight home or onward destination, marking the end of your incredible safari journey.
